If you're a lover of VERY low-top shoes, this is the pair for you.
These are great casual shoes. I would not recommend them for any activities where you have to spend an extended amount of time on your feet. The padding is moderate to low.
To inform anyone who might be ordering, these shoes run 1 whole size smaller than "true to size" shoes. I wear a size 13 in all other brands, I wear a 12 very comfortably in the Elliot.
Also, I have owned 4 pairs of these shoes, if you wear them for a long time the inside heel where the canvas meets the rubber with detach. Usually takes about a year for the shoe to do this.

i love these shoes. im on my second pair of eliots... they fit great and are super comfortable! which is alot more than i can say about some low top sneakers... ahemconverseahem.
the first pair lasted me four years of crazy and im hoping these ones do too!

We didn't follow other reviewers advice and ordered my sons usual size, we had to send them back, and got a prompt response. We had to order a size smaller from somewhere else. But we would definetly order from the seller again.

I had heard about and seen Macbeth shoes my local shopping mall but I couldn't find the size I needed. I'm glad I bought from amazon anyway because the shoes arrived in great shape. I've had them for a couple of months now and I can say that they have held up great under some heavy wear and tear. Feels like a Converse but forms better to your foot...and the whole bowling shoe concept is pretty cool. I reccommend.
